This Privacy Policy explains how PayGift (“we”, “us”, “our”), operating the website https://paygift.in, collects, uses, shares and protects information about you when you visit our website, browse products, or place an order. By using the website you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Order details: name, mobile number, email address (optional), delivery address, PIN code, payment preference and any order note you write at checkout.
• Messages: the content of WhatsApp chats, emails and calls with our support team.
• Business details: your GSTIN if you ask for it on your invoice.

Information collected automatically

• Cart data stored in your browser’s local storage so your cart survives a page refresh. This never leaves your device until you check out.
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type and pages viewed, collected by our hosting provider and basic analytics for security and performance.

We do not collect card numbers, bank passwords or UPI PINs. Payments are made directly through your UPI app or in cash to the courier.

2. How we use your information

• To process, confirm, pack and deliver your order and issue a GST invoice.
• To communicate with you about your order on WhatsApp, phone or email.
• To handle returns, exchanges, refunds and complaints.
• To keep our website secure and improve how it works.
• To send occasional offers on WhatsApp only if you have opted in. You can reply STOP at any time.
• To comply with legal and tax obligations.

3. How orders are transmitted

When you tap “Place Order on WhatsApp”, the website composes a message containing your order and delivery details and opens WhatsApp on your device. The message is sent from your WhatsApp account to our business number (+91 97858 32054). It is transmitted over WhatsApp’s end-to-end encrypted service and is subject to WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy.

4. Sharing of information

We share personal data only with parties needed to fulfil your order:

• Courier and logistics partners receive your name, address and phone number for delivery.
• WhatsApp (Meta) processes messages you send us.
• Hosting and email providers that run our website and mailbox.
• Government authorities where required by law, for example GST records.

We never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

5. Data retention

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as required under Indian tax law (currently up to 8 years). Chat history is kept for as long as needed to support your orders. You can ask us to delete your data that we are not legally required to retain.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to remember your cart and last order on your device. We do not use advertising cookies. Basic analytics, if enabled, use anonymised data. You can clear this data at any time from your browser settings.

7. Security

Our website is served over HTTPS. Access to order data is restricted to team members who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

8. Your rights

You may at any time ask us to:

• Show you the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Stop sending you promotional messages.
